The mist has come
To take me away
Far from this miserable place

No place to call home
As you can clearly see
My time has come to walk away
Far from this miserable place

Do not feel sorry
Please don't come running after me alright
I do not want to linger here any longer
It is time for me to move on

These tracks that has been laid down
Many years ago
I will follow them till the end of the world
Nothing will stop me from placing one foot in front of the other

Not your words of false promises
Or your pleading call the echoes around the bare dead trees
This mist that envelopes me
Will take me far away you see

I will keep on walking on
Not to turn back into your waiting arms
Following the old tracks buried in the ground

This place is not home
There is no place for me to go
I will keep walking on
Never back to your open arms

Watch me go
Walking down these old tracks
As the mist swallows me fast
Far, far away from this miserable place
