AbandonedI lay in pieces, scattered across the ground.
I search for help, there is none to be found.
I look to the sky, and let out a great sound.
I scream, I yell, but with no one around,
I lay in pieces, scattered across the ground.
Her WordsThe cold wind blows, carrying her words.
It settles in me with a bitter sharp, feeling.
Light begins to fade and all heat escapes me.
Standing there, in silence, I shiver
In pain from the bitter jabs the wind carries.
I can not lift my head, for the cold is relentless,
Harsh and bitter in the undying winter wind.
Pain is my only warmth, but that soon subsides.
Numb, I no longer seek the light, or ache for warmth.
So I stand there, numb, and alone.....
